Job Summary
VCT Product Engineer
- Position Description
Conduct VCT product design based on design guide create DVPR and analyze test data discuss with customer on design direction when needed.
Conduct discussion with global engineering team and internal team for product design / customer proposal where necessary.
Provide support for manufacturing / quality / supplier development investigation when needed.
Experience/background
- Bachelor/Master Degree on Mechanical engineering or similar degree is preferred
- More than 3years of experience in engineering field is preferred.
Work experience as engineer for automotive engine / transmission component is preferred.
Understands the fundamentals of automotive components
- Age up to 35 or below is preferred considering the mid-long term carrier planning.
Skill
- Fluent in Japanese
- English TOEIC score 400 or above is preferred
- Understands and can follow product design procedure
- Works diligently and is positive in learning new products
Action oriented. Can work proactively on its own
Has the skill to communicate across different groups (within/with out Product Engineering)
Can report to the manager at a timely manner.
Has the necessary PC skills (Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel etc)
- Capable of holding engineering explanation and discussion with customer and BorgWarner global team. Capable of understanding and expressing in English.
