Job Summary
Plans organizes and implements social work interventions for patients and families. Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people and acts as liaison to community resources.
Requirements
Education and Training
- LSW (Licensed Social Worker) Required
- Bachelor Degree in Social Work Required
Experience
- Previous social work experience in a clinical environment required.
Other Skills Competencies and Qualifications
- Licensed Social Worker.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of hospital and non-hospital personnel.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Prolonged standing/walking.
- Frequently must deal with stressful situations.
- Handles emergency or crisis situations.
- May be subject to irregular hours
