Role: CyberArk expert
Location: Calgary AB
Duration: 4-6 Months (with potential extension)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CyberArk Contractor to join our team on a 4-6 month staff augmentation basis. You will be responsible for supporting our Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiatives implementing and administering CyberArk solutions and working closely with our information security team to safeguard privileged accounts across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Freshly updated CyberArk components including Vault CPM PVWA PSM and PTA.
- Onboard and manage privileged accounts credentials and access controls in CyberArk.
- Support migration of existing privileged accounts into CyberArk.
- Develop and maintain custom connectors and integrations as needed.
- Troubleshoot CyberArk issues and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams (security infrastructure applications) to ensure proper CyberArk integration and compliance.
- Write and update operational documentation runbooks and procedures.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation related to privileged access.
- Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer to staff as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with CyberArk administration and implementation.
- Deep understanding of privileged access management concepts and best practices.
- Experience integrating CyberArk with Windows UNIX/Linux databases and network appliances.
- Ability to script (PowerShell Python etc.) for automation and integration tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with standards and regulations (e.g. SOX PCI-DSS HIPAA) related to privileged access.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CyberArk certification(s) (e.g. Defender Sentry Guardian).
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Prior experience with cloud integration (AWS Azure) in CyberArk.
- Exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
- Familiarity with BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management
