Job Summary

Role: Exterior Trim Launch Engineer
Location: Normal IL (Onsite)
Duration: Full-Time

Job Description

This person makes sure outside car parts like bumpers and grills are built properly when production starts. They fix issues improve design and work with suppliers.

Minimum 2 years experience in automotive exterior/bumper components
Support launch in manufacturing plant
Knowledge of:
- Bumper
- Cladding
- Spoiler
- Door exterior trim
- Front grill
- Garnish
- Mudguard
- Emblem
Conduct quality checks and defect identification
Perform root cause analysis
Work with cross-functional teams for permanent solutions
Create CAD proposals in Catia V6
Support change management
Collaborate with suppliers
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and plastic tooling
