JOB TITLE: C-17 Structures Mechanic
LOCATION: San Antonio TX
PAY RATE: $41/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform close-tolerance drilling reaming and installation on critical structural components
Locate and install structural components in existing aircraft structures including blind hole applications
Perform sealing painting shimming and preservation of aircraft structures
Read and interpret engineering drawings technical orders and specifications
Utilize tooling and fixtures for depot-level structural repair and modification
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components and support system replacements
Perform sheet metal repairs and structural modifications
Use specialized aircraft tools and test equipment
Access and update aircraft data systems; initiate parts and discrepancy requests
Maintain required certifications and comply with safety and FOD procedures
Support team members across maintenance disciplines to meet schedule and cost goals

Requirements:

1 years of experience working with non-porous metals (aluminum titanium stainless steel)
1 years of experience interpreting schematics specifications and assembly drawings
1 years of experience using structural hand tools (drills countersink cages rivet guns etc.)
Ability to work variable shifts including overtime weekends and holidays
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
