Job Summary
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Care Worker and Senior Social Care Worker based in Louth.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Social Care Worker and SCW to support children with intellectual disabilities acquired brain injuries and autism in a respite setting.
This role focuses on delivering person-centred care that meets the practical physical and emotional needs of each individual supporting their development independence and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality person-centred care and support
- Coordinate and lead shifts ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Supervise and support staff members on duty
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Report to the Person in Charge and deputise when required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care Social Work Youth Work Nursing Teaching Childcare (with disability modules) or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience working in residential respite or day services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- CORU registration or currently in the process of obtaining registration
Desirable
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
