Role Summary
Seeking a Credit Research Analyst to support Fixed Income Credit Research focused on the Financials sector. The role involves ongoing credit surveillance new-issue support and integrating company earnings updates into credit views reports and models with close day-to-day interaction with a Senior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide credit research coverage/support for Financial sector issuers acrossInvestment Grade and High Yield; may also support coverage of a smaller book ofequity namesfor the same issuers.
- Track and analyzedaily primary market (new issuance)activity; support deal evaluation pricing context and issuer-level updates.
- Incorporateearnings results guidance and key disclosuresinto credit notes surveillance reports and financial/credit models.
- Maintain and update credit models comparable analysis and issuer dashboards; ensure timely and accurate research outputs.
- Work indeep engagement with the Senior Analystthrough frequent calls and interactive collaboration on credit views catalysts and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience inFixed Income Credit Research preferably coveringFinancials(banks insurers brokers/asset managers etc.).
- Understanding ofIG/HY credit capital structures and key financial-sector credit metrics.
- Strong financial modeling writing and analytical skills; ability to deliver under tight timelines.
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative setup with regular direct interaction with senior stakeholders.
