Role Overview and Responsibilities
Introduction
We require a Despatch Operator to join our busy despatch team based at our site in Abercynon South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Work to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Pick/pack and scan customer orders following despatch pack list.
- Follow housekeeping rules and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Accurately complete documentation/ filing archive duties.
- Lift products (often heavy) safely following manual handling training provided.

Additional Information
- Forlift license desirable
- Basic computer skills - full portal and despatch system training will be provided.
- You will be required to work within a team but also work idependently to meet deadlines.
- You will need to be flexible as depending on workload you may be moved between other departments.
- Ideally the right candidate will have previous factory experience within a despatch department. However this is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Attention to details is key and a high level of accuracy require to avoid errors.
- Full clean UK driving license.

Our Recruitment Process
