Job Summary

Job Description-Drama Assistant

Technical Director for High School Drama

Reports to the Producing Director

Conduct production work sessions with students Monday-Fridayand on weekends.

Work with students independently and ensure that school policies and safety procedures are followed to:

Manage building and painting of set

Design and run lighting

Run rigging

Manage props and assist in obtaining and returning hand props and furniture props

Assist in managing sound

Manage Load-In and Strike

Attend regular production meetings with production staff and crews

Prepare contact lists rehearsal schedules fly lighting and prop plots and other related documents as required by the producing director
