Job Summary
What Youll Do:
Looking to break into the Food & Beverage industry Being a Host/Hostess is the perfect opportunity!
As a Host youre responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests. Here are some of the tasks youll be doing on a daily basis:
- Meet and greet guests as they arrive offer a choice of seating then escort them to their table and present menu in a timely manner.
- Manage reservation systems and waitlists.
- Read maintain and make daily entries in the log book
- Answer phone and handle inquiries
- Take phone orders for room service
- Maintain organized and clean entrance/host stand
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent. While previous food and beverage experience is a plus it is not required. What we really want is someone capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you go ahead and apply.
When Youre Here:
This probably goes without saying but youll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
