Job Description
As a Security Officer TWIC Entry Screening in Texas City TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible to help deter incidents assist visitors and staff and use strong communication and teamwork to support daily operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures visitor screening practices badge verification and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials log visitors vendors and deliveries and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations with professionalism following site protocols and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings controlled areas and perimeter locations noting suspicious behavior unsecured access points and other security-related concerns.
- Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by helping to deter unauthorized access documenting incidents and following post orders and site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
