Job Summary
Overview
This position sits within our Product Development division which develops tests and improves our software solutions in an innovative and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
The Senior Engineer enhances our cloud-native web applications using a combination of next-generation web technologies including JavaScript React Python C# all implemented using modern software engineering practices and continuous delivery. They are responsible for working with the designers and product managers to discover and build features that will maximize value for customers.
Responsibilities
What Youll Be Doing
Development of large-scaleenterprise cloud platforms that service multiple client applications
Performance analysis and memory utilization
Build reusable code and libraries using efficient testable coding practices
Logically identify and resolve issues using root cause analysis
Provide development support in debugging and resolving defects as assigned in support of assigned development projects and/or testing efforts
Provide estimates of level of work effort and time for completion
Ensurescoding standards are adhered to by other team members
Ensuresproper branching and code reviewprocesstake place in team code repository
Participatein scrum ceremonies
Provide technological guidance to peers
Fundamental understanding of software design and delivery

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
BS degree in Computer Sciences programming or a related discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience
5years relevant experiencedevelopingand analyzingweb applicationsusing technologiesincludingJavaScript Typescript React
5 years professional experience developing and analyzing cloud infrastructures and back-end systems using Java C# or Python
Experienceinclient side MVVMJavaScript frameworks like React Redux Angular and or similar
Familiarity with open-source packages and license types
Expertunderstanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles Data Structures and Algorithms
Experience using Unit testing tools such asxUnit/jestand Test-DrivenDevelopment (TDD)
Expert understanding of Agile processes and workflow
Experience with Docker. Including building and deploying containers to cloud systems.
Capable of analyzing issues in existing code and providing root cause analysis as well as remedy options
Learn and apply AI technologies: Has familiarity with AI tools and frameworks to assist in software development tasks such as automated testing code optimization and data analysis contributing to improved project outcomes.
Support AI integration: Implement AI-driven features and functionalities within applications ensuring smooth integration and enhancing overall performance
Capable ofleading theinterview process for prospective team members
Capable ofleading team members indelivering entire features
Capable of providing product insight to better understand feature feasibility and required implementation effort
Capable of mentoringengineers and providing them with technical as well as professional guidance
Excellent verbal interpersonal and written communication skills
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task efficiently
Sound business ethics including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Excellentproblem-solvingskills with ability to analyze situations identify existing or potential problems make decisions and recommend solutions
Demonstrated history of learning and keeping up with new technology trends as well as practices in modern software engineering and continuous delivery including AI assisted software engineering
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting telephone communication and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
- Team members who live within commuting distance of our Atlanta office are expected to work in a hybrid capacity with regular in-office presence as determined by the team or department.
- All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
