Inviting applications for the role of Accounting Operation Senior Manager English Hybrid Budapest

The OC (Operational Controllership) teams provide support for our clients financial activities of its affiliates across 31 countries in Europe working closely with the local/regional business controllership teams. Service scope includes preparatory and closing activities in areas like Compensation & Benefit Supply Chain Cash & Banking and Intercompany. This is an excellent opportunity to have a complex overview of accounting of a global company. We are looking for a Senior Manager Accounting Operation who can be a part of a large and friendly team.

Responsibilities
Manage a team with establishing team priorities and deliverables
Monitor operational performance via metrics and dashboards and escalate effectively
Drive performance development in the team through clear expectations performance appraisals insight sharing coaching and support personal developments
Drive employee engagement
Involvement in hiring & salary planning
Take responsibility for his/her teams actions
Team capacity planning to ensure continuity of service and/or adherence to the business deadlines
Develop good working relationships with business Finance partners and ensure stakeholders key priorities are met
Organize operational tasks within the team (in terms of technical accounting support to be provided)
Take ownership on account reconciliation process
Lead reviews of closing activities to ensure all close related activities are timely performed in good quality
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Significant accounting experience with proven experience of leading a team
Proficiency in the English language
Proven ability to drive team performance with a focus on quantitative and qualitative metrics
Deep understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements
Understand the interdependencies of key financial metrics / ratios.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Statutory knowledge
ACCA certificate
A second European language is an advantage
Technical skills
Computer Literacy: MS Office particularly Excel
ERP system (Oracle or SAP)
