What Youll Do
Pantex Human Resources is actively seeking an analytical detail-oriented and data-driven professional deeply committed to understanding and maximizing the strategic impact of compensation. This pivotal role offers the chance to directly influence how Pantex attracts retains and rewards top talent.
Youll be part of a collaborative team focused on designing fair competitive and forward-thinking compensation programs. More than spreadsheets joining the Compensation team is an opportunity to shape the employee experience and support strategic business decisions at Pantex a cornerstone of the nations nuclear deterrent.
Responsibilities
Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to develop competitive and fair job offers using market data and internal equity principles to support hiring
Analyze market data trends and benchmarks to guide pay decisions and maintain salary structures that support Pantexs compensation philosophy
Support job evaluations and leveling across the organization to ensure consistency and internal equity
Contribute to the development and enhancement of compensation tools resources and dashboards
Assist in the planning and execution of compensation cycles including merit increases promotions and variable pay programs
Learn and apply compensation policies procedures and relevant regulations
Collaborate with HR business partners recruiters other HR functions and organizational leaders on compensation-related initiatives
Serve as a trusted resource by providing timely clear and thoughtful guidance on compensation-related questions bringing a strong customer service mindset to every interaction
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Masters degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- OR applicants without a bachelors degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 10 years of completed education and/or relevant experience

Preferred Job Requirements
Degree in Human Resources Business Finance Economics or related field
Experience in Compensation Talent Acquisition HR analytics or a related HR/finance role
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables lookup functions formulas)
High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain data and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
A foundational understanding of compensation principles and/or human resources concepts
Experience with HRIS compensation systems and/or compensation surveys
Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph pursuant to 10 CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
