Job Description
As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Albuquerque NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures following security-related policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store entrance areas parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor customer and employee traffic report suspicious behavior and/or help support loss prevention awareness through visible presence and timely communication.
- Assist with access control closing procedures and/or after-hours checks as assigned while maintaining attention to property conditions and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
