Collateral Specialist (Temporary)
Location: In-Office (Carrollton TX)
We are looking for a highly organized detail-oriented Collateral Specialist to join our team for a temporary this critical role you will be responsible for the physical and digital processing of loan collateralensuring that legal documents are accurate separated and shipped to our warehouse banks daily. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where same-day is the standard this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
High-Priority Processing: Manage the collateral for 1st liens 2nd liens and specialty files (CEMA Co-Op Correspondent and Bond loans) prioritizing by funding dates to meet strict daily deadlines.
Document Auditing: Review Notes Security Instruments and closing packages for absolute accuracy requesting corrections from title companies or attorneys as needed.
Warehouse Shipping: Prepare package and ship physical collateral to Warehouse Line Banks by end-of-business daily to ensure uninterrupted funding.
Data Integrity: Perform precise data entry within Encompass and other systems of record to track the movement and status of every file.
Exception Management: Rapidly resolve collateral exceptions flagged by warehouse banks to keep the pipeline moving.
Post-Closing Support: Review trailing documents and final closing packages for scanning and archival.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3 years of related experience in mortgage title or financial services.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Encompass and MS Office products is highly preferred.
Critical Thinking: Proven ability to research information and solve problems in a changing environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a traditional office setting and lift/move file boxes up to 25 lbs.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
