Job Duties
- Acts as a project lead by providing and/or coordinating Technology support for multiple Manufacturing locations.
- Applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools for product changes or revisions.
- Uses engineering tools to document calculations and compare the results in controlled databases.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and provides direct support for implementation.
- Contributes to Halliburtons Intellectual Property portfolio by delivering innovative and commercially successful solutions.
- Takes the initiative to go beyond what situations require and focuses on attention to detail by making sure that work is done correctly completely and to the highest standards.
- Creates an impactful relationship with Halliburtons technical community customers and vendors by proactively collaborating with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Skills acquired through the completion of a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Minimum educational requirement of a doctoral degree and zero years experience or a masters degree and two or more years related experience or a bachelors degree and four or more years related experience.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience (2) additional job requirements and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education experience and skill level a variety of job opportunities might be available including Principal R&D Mechanical Engineer and Advisor R&D Mechanical Engineer.
