Job Summary
Preschool Teacher - The Licking Regional ESC has two potential openings for Intervention Specialists to work at our Flying Colors Preschool one position at our central location in downtown Newark and the other in the Utica Elementary classroom. Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree and valid Ohio teaching license. A dual-license (gen-ed and intervention) is preferred but not necessary. Salary will be based on years of experience and licensure. Qualified individuals may send their letter of interest and current resume to The posting will remain open until successful candidates can be found!QUALIFICATIONS: of a Bachelors Ohio Department of Education licensure/ completion of BCI/FBI background checksESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: safety of students taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and instruction to students demonstrating a knowledge of behavior management and motivational the annual goals and short term goals in the daily lesson plans and monthly activity a system of documentation/information collection to verify implementation of student progress toward goals and objectives relating to academic and behavior for the development and implementation of weekly lesson plans based on student other school staff in implementing appropriate functional curriculum instruction and behavior management parent meetings to develop and share information pertaining to student written reports as assigned by the administration in an accurate and timely skill in prevention redirection and crisis and supervises the paraprofessional(s) assigned to his or her regular and predictable required license(s) respect at all times for confidential information e.g. IEPs medical records court decisions ethics of the teaching profession exhibits professional behavior emotional stability and sound employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment at the as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible intelligent human beings
