As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Eden NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this dynamic role you will support a welcoming environment for students staff and visitors while reflecting our agile reliable and innovative approach a caring culture teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an education location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location offering directions and assistance while helping to support a professional environment for daily operations and scheduled events.
• Communicate with site contacts emergency personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents policy questions and changing conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
