Job Summary

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring for EnglishLanguage Teachersto provide in-person customized lessons to childrenin Carmel IN

Job Information / Reference: 194877

Student: 12-year-old - girl
Availability: Mon Wed Fri 4:30-6:30 pm or Sat/Sun (need to discuss the available timing for each week)
Lesson Location: near Ronald Reagan Green Park ( Ashworth St Carmel IN 46032)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson Frequency: 1x a week 1-hour lessons
Current target language level: Beginner
Language spoken at home: Japanese
Students language needs and goals: The family would like the English lessons to help her to adjust to life in the U.S. more easily. Her parents would like her to work on English for daily use. Conversation skills are the one she wants to improve the most but the family thinks writing and reading skills are also important for her to adjust to school life. She enjoys conversation. The family also thinks she can enjoy herself if there are fun elements such as games.

Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner

Qualifications:

To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
To have a degree in language teaching education instructional design writing language linguistics second-language acquisition or a related field
To have a minimum of two years of English teaching experience
To have experience working with children is a must
