Job Summary
MEMCO SER is currently looking for a Facility Maintenance to work in Katy TX asap!!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance to support the ongoing operation and upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining building systems and equipment to ensure a safe efficient and well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive detail-oriented and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing issues.
- Replace defective parts and restore equipment functionality in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Facility Upkeep
- Complete maintenance tasks and general building repairs.
- Assist with basic groundskeeping and landscaping maintenance as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and health regulations.
- Consistently utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety procedures.
Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor maintenance inventory levels and maintain organized storage of tools and materials.
- Order necessary parts and supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities inspections and repairs.
- Support regulatory compliance through proper documentation and reporting.
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or facility-related emergencies.
- Assess situations and determine whether issues can be resolved internally or require outside specialist support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a facility commercial maintenance or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Reliable proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
- MUST have experience in industrial fabrication and mechanical work
