Your opportunity
You will:
- Conduct in-depth investment fundamental analysis of specific sectors and individual stocks to assist with the monitoring of existing holdings and help with the identification of new trade ideas
- Attend sell-side analyst and company management meetings plus broker conferences
- Prepare detailed reports and will be required to frequently present your views and recommendations to the team
- Identify asymmetric return opportunities consistent with an absolute return mindset
- Apply appropriate valuation techniques (e.g. DCF) with a focus on downside protection
- Stress-test assumptions under different macro and market regimes

Must have skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience of financial modelling ideally gained through at least three years prior experience as an equity research analyst on the sell-side or buy-side
- In-depth knowledge through experience of at least one industry sector in European equities
- Degree educated (all disciplines considered)
- Willingness to work hard ability to work and make decisions independently
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task organize and assimilate large amounts of information quickly
- Coping with pressure and setbacks investing needs to be your passion
- Microsoft office skills to include Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and other market data platforms
Nice to have skills
- Ideally IMC or CFA qualified (or studying towards)

Annual Bonus Opportunity:Position may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company department team and individual performance.
