Position Overview
Daisy Brand is seeking a highly analytical insight-driven Sales Insights Specialist to support our Regional Sales and Demand Planning teams with data-driven decision-making. This role exists to address the growing volume and complexity of customer-level data and to transform that data into actionable insights that improve sales execution trade effectiveness and customer service.
The Sales Insights Specialist will serve as a key analytical partner to Regional Sales Managers Trade Finance and Demand Planning. This is a hands-on role that blends reporting excellence with deeper analytical work including trade analysis and forecasting support. Over time this role will take on expanded responsibility for trade and performance analysis currently owned by senior team members.
This position is well suited for an analytically curious data-first professional early in their career who is eager to work with large data sets modern analytics tools and automation to drive business outcomes.
This position operates under a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence Monday Tuesday and Thursday with Wednesday and Friday designated as remote workdays. While this schedule is typical team or business needs may require additional onsite days.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Customer Analytics
- Develop maintain and continuously improve weekly and monthly customer- and account-level reports dashboards and scorecards.
- Analyze sales trends distribution changes and performance drivers to identify risks and growth opportunities.
- Leverage syndicated and retailer-specific data platforms to deliver clear actionable insights to Sales leadership.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Business Support
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer critical business questions and support customer-facing initiatives.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation reporting efficiency and use of modern analytics tools.
Trade & Pricing Analysis
- Support analysis of promotions pricing strategies and trade spend to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
- Assist with trade to support decision-making and future planning.
- Partner with Sales and Trade Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment across forecasts and trade assumptions.
Forecasting Demand Planning & Execution Support
- Monitor forecast accuracy fill rates and service levels to support strong customer execution.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales to address out-of-stocks reduce spoilage and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field (Marketing Analytics Finance Business Economics or similar).
- 2 years of experience in an analytical finance or data-focused role. Internship or specific collegiate-project level experience qualifies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables formulas); experience with Power BI required.
- Experience analyzing syndicated POS data (Circana or NielsenIQ).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with large complex datasets.
- Clear structured communicator able to translate data into insights.
- Self-motivated curious and eager to continuously improve processes and outputs.
- Experience with retailer-specific platforms preferred.
- Interest in automation AI-enabled tools and modern analytics technologies preferred.
