Pay Rate:
- $46/hour on W2
Schedule
- MondayFriday
- 7:20 AM 3:30 PM
- 40 hours/week (Approx. 37 billable hours; unpaid lunch)
Position Overview
The Elementary Resource Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a resource setting. This role focuses on helping students access the general education curriculum while addressing their individualized learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students IEP goals
- Develop implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers staff and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation progress reports and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in staff meetings and required school activities
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings (overtime approved when applicable)
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Support behavioral and academic interventions as needed
Student Population
- Elementary School (Grades K5)
- Approximate caseload: 30 students
Required Qualifications
- Active EC (Exceptional Children) Licensure
- Ability to pass required background check
- Strong knowledge of special education laws procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
