Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Danvers MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic transportation location as an armed patrol professional where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support travelers and staff through strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including armed response when required by post orders and local regulations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities platforms parking areas roadways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points verify credentials where required and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or unusual conditions according to site protocols.
- Document incidents assist with traffic and pedestrian flow during disruptions and communicate with supervisors staff and/or public agency personnel regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
