Attorney Associate

Job Purpose

• Legal supports the Business to move forward by providing legal advice and solutions based on the deep understanding of the Business industry and the related laws®ulations and the strong relationship with Business.

Job Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on/related insurance transactions

Draft and review legal documentation such as general commercial contracts agent contracts and outsourcing contracts

Work closely with various business sections and other functions providing advice on changes to law and regulatory trends

Provide support and legal training to colleague

Proactively detect legal issues conduct legal research and provide solutions

Manage external legal advisors

Required Skills and Experiences

Educational Qualification

• No requirements

Specific Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in Japan or in other major common law jurisdictions
• Certain knowledge of the insurance industry (preferable)
• Business level of English (TOEIC 800 or above) and Japanese

Total Experience

• 5 years of experience as the qualified lawyer
• Experience in the insurance business (preferable)
