- Strong foundational data skills (cleaning transforming validating)
- Ability to build clear accurate reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI Tableau or Excel
- Understanding of basic data modeling and how datasets connect
- Comfort working with large datasets and identifying patterns or issues
- Basic SQL or query-writing skills for extracting and manipulating data
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in calculations visuals and logic
- Analytical thinking to interpret data and identify meaningful insights
- Ability to document and follow repeatable data processes
- Good communication skills to explain data and reports to nontechnical audiences
- Ability to translate business questions into data requirements
- Collaborates well with both business teams and technology teams
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools technologies and methods

Education and Experience Requirements
Job Description
- Collaborate with functional area management and end-users to develop and document detailed business requirements.
- Assist in the creation of Business Tools based on business needs and current information infrastructure.
- Work with Business Unit & BTC Teams to establish business requirements into reporting specifications including user interfaces inputs input validation rules processing logic and outputs.
- Define the Business Utility interface requirements with Legacy Systems and IT databases (EDW BUAD BW etc..).
- Monitor report and utility failures and develop recovery processes and procedures.
- Create all documentation necessary to the proper use of the application: user guides operating procedures etc.
- Assist end-users with the day-to-day use of the reports and ensure that operating procedures are communicated understood and complied with.
- Investigate end-user issues and provide detailed documentation to help troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner .
- Keep abreast of new system database technologies and data extraction techniques and practices. Make recommendations as appropriate.
- Support the development of reports with analytical processing systems such as BOBJ SQL COGNOS etc.. .
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and databases data extraction techniques and applications and data reporting/analysis tools & techniques leveraging databases.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
