As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Courier in FAIRFAX VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location where you will monitor assigned areas perform routine driving and foot patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access support and when appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance environmental and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials as required by site policy and assist with visitor vendor and/or contractor access in accordance with location procedures.
• Support utility operations by observing restricted areas noting suspicious behavior and communicating disruptions hazards and/or policy violations that could impact personnel property or ongoing services.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
