Role Definition:
Execute the design build deployment of application updates and patches for Desktop OS platform environments and continue to maintain the IT infrastructure using appropriate and trending technologies.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates Microsoft Configuration Manager (System Center Configuration Manager SCCM) planning for distribution of application updates for Caterpillar Enterprise
- Lead actions to maintain the infrastructure of SCCM and related IT systems
- Develop and manage integrations (i.e. Snowflake ServiceNow)
- Manage client health (governance dashboard)
- Conduct pilots for application updates
- Provide input to package standards and guidance
- Provide packaging and deployment oversight to Managed Service Provider
- Guide the design solutions by assessing and aligning the current systems to best practices and complying to Caterpillar policies and procedures.
- Execute the middleware application server and automated workflow tools; work with server virtualization technologies.
What you will have:
- SCCM Expertise: Deep understanding of SCCM for deploying managing and maintaining software and hardware configurations
- Windows Server Knowledge: Proficiency in Windows Server environments including SQL DB
- Networking: Strong knowledge of networking concepts to ensure efficient communication between SCCM and client machines
- Cybersecurity Management: Understanding of cybersecurity best practices to ensure configurations are secure and compliant.
- Degree Requirement: IT related degree or equivalent experience desired
- Pre-advanced English
Top Candidates will also have:
- Knowledge of Windows Modern Device Management (Intune Capabilities and Administration).
- Understanding of physical and virtual desktop environment (Windows 365 Cloud PC)
- Knowledge of following products: MS PowerShell Azure / AWS MS Intune

Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals reports guidelines or documents on standards processes and applications.
