Role Definition
Manages the overall application and processes of ongoing operations by resolving transactional grief and administrative process work to ensure facility production lines run as intended.

Responsibilities
Managing operations metrics monitoring transaction analytics identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities standardizing and simplifying work and mitigating risks.
Building a collaborative environment based on process partners needs through compliance to standards PO management supplier on/off boarding and providing a practical technical or administrative service focusing on improve its cycle times.
Contributing to product and process vision and alignment with procurement organizations.
Leading a team responsible for collaborating with the other functions in procurement to perform operational execution transactional activity systems data maintenance reporting and their associated metrics monitoring.

Degree or equivalent experience desired

Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying evaluating introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.

Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand monitor update control or enhance existing business or work processes.
Level Extensive Experience:
Helps others learn the tools and techniques for process value analysis.
Carries out process evaluation diagnosis and optimization.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of a major process flow its components and issues.
Synchronizes the efforts of and resource requirements for several teams within a process.
Makes the business case for new processes including their cost-benefit ratios.
Possesses knowledge of tools and techniques for designing and implementing new processes.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status.
Under guidance plans and estimates simple projects.
Assists in detailed project plans including cost schedule and resource requirements.
Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.
Produces standard project status reports.

Team Management: Knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams.

Facilitates discussion of team goals roles needs and responsibilities.

Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
Level Working Knowledge:
Documents major considerations of product promotions and analyzes their effect on production and required capacity.
Provides management reports on actual and projected capacity requirements.
Uses available tools to interpret forecasts and work out required capacity.
Participates in developing short-term capacity requirements for a specific product or plant.
Collects and collates key elements of demand chain used in developing capacity requirements.

E-Procurement: Knowledge of online procurement systems techniques and procedures; ability to use tools processes and practices for purchasing goods and services via electronic links to suppliers and partners.
Level Working Knowledge:
Obtains the type of information that needs to be exchanged between trading partners.
Works with executing and monitoring electronic purchase orders.
Solves common problems and issues with real-time ordering shipping and invoicing.
Supports key functions and features of an electronic procurement application.
Documents the e-procurement approval process.

Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities accountabilities and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.
Level Extensive Experience:
Advises on how to use advanced technologies and tools for procurement functions.
Provides appropriate solutions to complex procurement problems.
Coaches others on the procedures and main considerations of procurement.
Works with various complex procurement programs and activities in the organization.
Improves processes to maximize procurements efficiency and effectiveness.
Builds key relationships and dependencies with other business functions and providers.
