Job Summary
Title: RN MS Tele Float
Location: Watertown NY
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: 12*3/ Night
Weekly Gross: $2000- $2500(Based on experience)
Job Description:
The MS/Tele FLOAT RN provides high-quality patient care across multiple units includingMed/Surg PCU ICU ED and Pediatrics. The nurse must be adaptable experienced and comfortable floating to meet staffing needs with a focus oncoronary careand acute patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across various units including Med/Surg PCU ICU ED and Pediatric units
- Deliver patient-centered care including assessment teaching and spiritual support
- Recognize and address safety issues; use proper patient lifting techniques
- Function well under stress using creative problem-solving and critical thinking
- Delegate tasks and assume leadership roles as required including charge nurse duties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation usingMEDITECH EMR
Required Experience
- Minimum1 completed successful travel assignment
- Previoushospital RN experience preferred
- Coronary care experience required
- Must be comfortable floating across multiple units
Education & Licensure
- Graduate from anaccredited School of Nursing
- ActiveNew York RN license
Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Skills & Competencies
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills
- Leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
- Ability to assess and provide safe patient care across multiple units
