Who is your future team

Partner Solutions is part of the Products & Solutions organization working closely with Axis products organization and R&D as well as with our key global partners to ensure that our hardware and software products get integrated in an optimal way.

We are a team of eight people in partner-facing roles both partner engineers and partner managers who work together with a focus on bridging Axis with technology partners.

How We Work
Our teams focus is to ensure strong integration between Axis offerings and partner systems by

• Integration support to global Technology Integration Partners
• Development of plugins and integrations
• Driving interoperability with Axis OS our operating system for edge devices
• Supporting partners that develop applications on the edge (link joint product and technology initiatives together with our partners

Our responsibilities include partner management and servicing partners as well as a close collaboration with various stakeholders within Axis to share information manage and facilitate R&D collaboration with selected partners.

What Youll Do As Full-Stack Developer

You will be working part-time to help Axis further develop and maintain the Virtual Loan Tool as well as being responsible for the device labs. During summer its a full-time job. From September 1st it transfers into a part-time position of in average one working day (8 hrs.) per week and it is possible to adapt the work schedule to your study plan.

Virtual Loan Tool is a web application where partners and other developers can search for and select Axis devices to loan online in order to use for various types of testing.

Your main tasks will be:

Development deployment & maintenance of the Virtual Loan Tool. The web-based loan tool is mainly written in Typescript using several open-source libraries such as Express and Vue 3. You will work as a full-stack developer with both front-end and back-end development. You will have the main responsibility for the backlog and come with suggestions on improvements and new development areas.

Management of the device lab. We have two labs with 250 devices connected to the Internet in two lab rooms at Axis new building at Gränden 1 in Lund. You will spend some parts of your time at Axis maintaining the lab mounting new cameras removing old cameras and make sure the lab is up and running.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a university student interested in working part-time at Axis. You have software development skills preferably with experience in building REST API websites / systems. The following technologies / frameworks / languages are currently used as part of the system:

• Vite/Vitest
• Docker
• Linux/Ubuntu
• Networking (Router/Switches)
• Git

Ifyou are curious a good problem solver and eager to learn and master software development this is an excellent opportunity for you. You will need social skills a passion for learning and courage to take ownership and ask for help when needed. You are a self-starter as this position requires you to work independently at times.
