Job Summary
Salvage Technician
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Salvage Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting dismantling and recovering usable parts from equipment or vehicles while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming equipment/vehicles for salvageable components
- Safely dismantle and remove parts using hand and power tools
- Sort tag and inventory recovered parts
- Dispose of non-reusable materials in accordance with regulations
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Assist with loading/unloading and moving materials as needed
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge required
- Previous salvage automotive or equipment experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Dependable with a solid work ethic
