Job Summary
Our internship goal is to foster an understanding and appreciation for working at a mid-sized public research institution. Intern(s) have an opportunity to experience various aspects of Carolina Housings departmental initiatives during the summer months. As a part of the Summer Conference Operations team the intern(s) directly contributes to the preparation and implementation of summer operations giving an immersive internship experience. The intern(s) will receive a broad perspective of the department while also being able to provide valuable feedback/information from their respective institutions. Each intern will also be able to develop their leadership supervision and organizational skills from this position. This experience is largely driven by the interns interests and developmental needs. The Conference Operations Intern(s) will be supervised/mentored by the Assistant Director of Conference and Guest Services.
Work Schedule
Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM; with potential night/weekend commitments
