Assignment Type:Contract
Schedule:Full-time 40 hours/week 5 days/week
Shift:3:30 PM 12:00 AM Alternating weekendsNo on-call requirement
Pay Rate:Upto $86/hr for travel / Upto $70/hr for local Depends on the experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedRN House Supervisorto provide leadership coverage during a medical leave of absence. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations ensuring quality patient care and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a long-term acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across the facility
- Ensure delivery of safe high-quality patient care
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational issues during shift
- Enforce compliance withJoint Commissionstandards and facility policies
- Support staff with clinical decision-making and problem resolution
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor workflow staffing and patient care activities
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum2 years of acute care supervisory experience
- Strong understanding ofJoint Commission standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment
Education
- Required:Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Certifications & Licensure
- ActiveNew York State RN License
- License verification throughNYSED
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
