Position Overview
Our client a leading Audiovisual integrator serving the NYC Metro regionis looking for an experienced Audiovisual Design/Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time direct-hire position and candidates dhoild possess a blend of technical proficiency in audiovisual systems and strong sales capabilities ensuring that we meet our clients evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess their audiovisual needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Design and propose audiovisual systems and solutions including equipment selection and integration.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and demonstrate the benefits of our solutions to clients.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients for future opportunities and support.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities manage leads and report on sales performance.
- Stay current with industry trends new technologies and product advancements.
- Participate in training programs and workshops as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in audiovisual integration or sales.
- Strong networking skills generating leads and sales via the firms referral ecosystemof consultants architects general contractors channel and distribution partners as well as tech vendor contacts.
- Proficient in the sales of industry-standard technologies and products such as Crestron Extron QSC Biamp Audinate and others including VTC Audio Sound Bars Microphone arrays etc.
- Understanding of audiovisual design principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills verbal and written.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong Team Player
- CTS CTS-D certifications from AVIXA is highly desirable.
Compensation
The annual salary for the Audiovisual Design/Sales Engineer will be market-competivvecommensurate with experience. There will also be an uncapped commission plan and a first-year ramp will be in place.
