Our Chief Technology Office (CTO) organization manages innovation within NXP on a company level. We support the Business Units with the tools knowledge and processes that enable them to create great new secure products for our customers. The Security Architecture Team of the Competence Center Crypto & Security is part of this organization.
Join our team and support the SoC SW teams in gathering requirements specifying designing verifying reviewing and implementing security solutions for NXPs products in the IoT/Automotive domains.
Your Responsibilities:
- Specify design and review system software security architectures and implementations.
- Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments for security systems.
- Manage security requirements by defining and linking security mechanisms to functional requirements incorporating innovative security mechanisms into the system software architecture.
- Perform root cause analysis of security defects and develop countermeasures.
- Serve as the technical interface to customers evaluation labs and product development teams.
Your Profile:
- PhD or Masters degree in Cryptography Security Software Engineering Electronics or Mathematics.
- Min. 7 years or more of experiences in security or cryptography
- Experience or interest in AI security.
- Extensive experience in embedded software development using C and assembly.
- Strong knowledge of SoCs software stacks middleware and applications.
- Familiarity with key cybersecurity standards.
- Independent working style with a willingness to listen and adapt.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player.
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
