Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
- Schedule: 40 hours/week (5 days 8-hour shifts)
- Additional Info: Rotating days with occasional weekends and holidays

- This is a travel role candidates must live 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Clinician for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient setting. This role involves conducting clinical assessments developing treatment plans and supporting patients through admission treatment and discharge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments for patients with acute behavioral health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with care teams
- Lead treatment planning and coordinate discharge processes
- Provide individual group and family therapy
- Assess psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge services
- Support patients and families with care planning including placement and community resources
- Serve as a liaison between patients families and external agencies
- Provide crisis intervention and prevention services
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Coordinate with managed care organizations for authorizations
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts license (LCSW LICSW LMHC LMFT or PhD in Psychology)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB certification Required
- BLS Certification Required
- 12 years of recent inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred
- Strong assessment crisis intervention and care coordination skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
