This position reports to:
Sr HR Business PartnerHR at ABB in Pinetops is growing! This is your opportunity to join a thriving facility and ingrain yourself in a transformational and growth-oriented time in the manufacturing facilitys history.
As the HR Business Partner supporting the 2nd Shift in the Pinetops Manufacturing Facility you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. Each day you will provide HR support for a defined team or location by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.
The work model for the role is onsite (#LI-Onsite) and would be expected to work weekdays on a consistent schedule of either 1PM - 9:30PM 2PM - 10:30PM or 3PM - 11:30PM.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Act as the primary HR contact and resource for the Pinetops facility to support the 2nd shift operations. Capable of being self-sufficient comfortable in handling situations as they arise and possess the wherewithal to escalate as needed to necessary plant leadership.
Ensuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.
Supporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.
Partnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies.
Facilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or other related fields Required
5 Years of Progressive HR Experience dedicated to HR Operations HRIS Management or HR Generalist Roles ideally in a manufacturing / plant / distribution center environment
Extensive Employee Relations Experience preferred
HR Operations Support preferred
Change Management Talent Management and People Analytics preferred
Payroll Management is preferred
