Job Summary
- Provide respiratory care for all patient populations (Neonate Pediatric occasional Adult) throughout the facility
- Work in a teaching hospital with 247 licensed beds Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center Chest Pain Center and Certified Stroke Center
- Serve as part of the Resource Team; minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience required
- Care for patients with a variety of respiratory diagnoses; experience in ED PICU Peds CVICU Peds PCU and General Med Floors preferred
- Required certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NRP
- Must hold RRT or CRT credentials and NC licensure
- Utilize ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV) and EPIC EMR system
- Receive support from Respiratory Leadership within department
- Complete facility and departmental orientation (NEO and 2 days unit-specific)
- Must comply with radius rule (permanent address 50 miles from facility)
- Scrub color: Royal blue; free parking available
