Role : Electrical Bid Engineer
Location : New York City NY (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in cost analysis bid preparation and electrical project planning. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of labour costing electrical material pricing and project requirements along with hands-on experience using estimating software such as EBM Vision or Accubid. This role requires accuracy analytical thinking and the ability to support competitive and compliant bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects including labour materials and equipment.
- Analyse project drawings specifications and scope documents to determine requirements.
- Develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Source and evaluate pricing for electrical materials and subcontractor services.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals within deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and procurement teams to ensure alignment on estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as EBM Vision Accubid or similar tools effectively.
- Monitor market trends material costs and labour rates to ensure up-to-date pricing.
- Identify potential cost risks and opportunities for value engineering.
- Maintain organized records of estimates bids and supporting documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Should have strong experience as Electrical Estimator
- Strong knowledge of Labour costing Electrical material pricing and Electrical materials needed in projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing Bids.
- Proficiency in EBM Vision or similar estimating software such as Accubid.
