Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled bilingual (English and Spanish required) Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a multi-location neurology practice. Experience and/or post-graduate training in neurology is preferred. This role involves providing high-quality care to neurology patients in both outpatient clinic settings and hospital environments under the supervision of a neurologist.

Experience and/or post-graduate training in neurology is preferred. This role involves providing high-quality care to neurology patients in both outpatient clinic settings and hospital environments under the supervision of a neurologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments including patient history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in collaboration with a supervising neurologist.
- Provide outpatient care to patients at clinic locations in Germantown and Silver Spring.
- Perform inpatient neurology consultations and follow-ups in hospital settings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions treatment options and preventive care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotation including occasional night calls.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in neurology and evidence-based practices.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with neurology experience and productivity primarily based on the average number of patients seen per day.
