Shift Time: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekend coverage. However we are open to some flexibility in scheduling based on candidate availability.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian and currently licensed in Washington DC
REQUIRED:
1 2 years of clinical nutrition experience preferably in an acute care setting REQUIRED Bachelor s Degree Required
Registered Dietitian/Licensed Dietitian registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible.
BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 90 days of hire date.
Good written and oral communication skills required.
Typing and basic computer skills desired.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment.
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population of NWTHS; developing a nutritional plan of care and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team. The Registered Dietitian will assist training and performance improvement as needed and provide education to the community periodically.
