We are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Team Lead to manage day-to-day operations within the Bankruptcy function of U.S. Mortgage Default Servicing. This role requires strong people management capabilities in-depth domain knowledge and the ability to consistently deliver quality results in a high-volume time-sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of processors/analysts ensuring compliance with bankruptcy regulations meeting SLAs and driving continuous process improvements while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mentor and manage a team handling U.S. mortgage bankruptcy case within Default Servicing
• Monitor daily workflow productivity quality and SLA adherence
• Provide coaching feedback and performance management to team members
• Ensure compliance with U.S. bankruptcy laws investor guidelines and internal policies
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for bankruptcy-related processes
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with QA operations and management to resolve escalations and complex cases
• Prepare and share team performance reports and MIS on a regular basis
Required Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in the U.S. mortgage servicing domain with strong exposure to Bankruptcy/Default Servicing
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Team Lead in Bankruptcy operations
• Proven experience managing a team in a high-volume production environment
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy chapters timelines and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with quality metrics audits and performance improvement
