| Join BMWTechWorks India in the dynamic Cluster Digital Product Engineering where you will contribute to cutting-edge vehicle development for BMWs future electric vehicles. As a Design Engineer in our CAD Unit you will take ownership of developing Flexible Printed Circuit Boards (FPC) for the Gen6 WE HV battery system a critical component in BMWs high-voltage cell contacting system. You will design and optimize electrical trace layouts using Altium Designer collaborate closely with simulation and cell contacting teams and oversee the full design cycle from 3D modeling to final technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure that our components meet the highest standards for series production across all BMW Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Must have technical skill | - Proficient in Altium Designer for 2D electrical trace layout layer definition footprint and library management.
- Experienced with CAD tools preferably CATIA for 3D construction including board outlines folding/bending panelization and technical drawing.
- Solid knowledge or experience in high-voltage battery systems and safety requirements.
- Strong understanding of electrical component design and manufacturing processes.

Good to have Technical skills | - Prior experience in the automotive industry especially with electric vehicle battery systems.
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in a complex engineering environment.
- Knowledge of quality management and approval processes for automotive components.
