This role will support the product team to ensure clean and well thought out designs for our customers. Leadership qualities will be a strength of yours as you will mentor and guide others in the design team but also be hands on with design.

Here in Auckland we develop a number of cloud platforms and applications. Were building a vertical SaaS platform for animal health that requires significant technical expertise to deliver. Sowhat are we looking for

Create a well-considered design plan and work with our Product Owners/Managers and Engineers to bring the solution to life!
Design ideate problem solve!Be in your creative elementcoming up withsolutions and interactive prototypes using your UI and UX skills
Conductresearchand execute user experience initiatives for the ezyVet suite of applications.
Develop and roll out testing with our amazing network of customers who are in our testing group as well as some of our engineers and wider IDEXX staff.
Work closely with our user base to gain a deep understanding of ourusersworkflows and requirements.
Design and document user interface modules and layouts - common design principles to improve the look of the IDEXX suite of applications.
Responsible for creating interactive user centric prototypes.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering Leadership
Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced designers to improve and revise through constant feedback.

What you will bring:

A customer centric thought process.
Prior experience in the UX/UI space.
Prior experience with prototyping and user testing
High attention to detail
A creative flair matched with an intensity to understand how customers use the product.
Self-driven curious and strong interpersonal skills strong verballisteningand written communication
Strong understanding of the development process
Prior experience managing UX Designers is preferred
