Position Title: Bridgeport Operator
Location: Auburn Hills
Shifts Needed: Days
Responsibilities
- Ability to execute build as represented in manufacturing plan and on prints for most medium and difficult complexity jobs with no supervision
- Operates most manual machines including lathes presses grinders and Bridgeports
- Works in an efficient manner
- Understand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructions
- Must be able to achieve quality and production goals
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Ability to read complex blueprints
- Ability to identify and find specifications
- Limited Knowledge in geometric tolerances (understand and recognize some symbols)
- Limited understanding of general tolerances
- Comprehend simple sections and views
- Understand reference system
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience
Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs.; heavier load sizes with assistance
- Have own standard tools
- On feet for extended periods of time
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
