Job Summary
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provides individual and group therapy
- Ensures all documentation regarding patient care treatment and incidents is completed timely and in a clear and concise manner
- Provides crisis intervention to patients
- Assists with aftercare planning
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in social or health related Field required and 6 years experience in counseling field required OR Bachelors degree in other field required and 8 years experience in the counseling field required OR Masters degree in social or health services field required and 4 more years experience in the counseling field.
- At least two years clinical experience specifically with chemically dependent / dually diagnosed population
- Licensure or certification for counseling as required by the state in which the facility operates.
- Completion of ongoing education and training as required by the state in which the facility operates and applicable accrediting body.
- Crisis Prevention/De-escalation training and CPR & First Aid(offered onsite).
- Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
- Ability to work well with male and female adult (18) patients withChemical dependencyandMental Health disorders
- CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
- Teamwork and excellent customer service
