Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access protocols and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Screen individuals vehicles packages and/or freight entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and documented screening requirements.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location entry points and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns policy violations and/or unauthorized activity.
- Maintain accurate logs screening records and incident documentation while following established procedures for inspections reporting and escalation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
