Job Summary
Position Summary:
- Carry out quality assessment of all products.
- Understand product drawings
- Monitor in process operations to ensure they meet quality standards
- Accept or reject finished items
- Identifying in process defects and assistance with analyzing/correcting production problems including training as required
- Ensuring all documentation regarding product quality complies with standards specification and guidelines
- Prepare and maintain Inspection records
- Provide PCBA Receiving Inspection
- Provide assistance as back up to Receiving Inspector Incoming Inspector and final inspection
- Carry out any other assigned tasks required by management.
Essential Job Functions
- Reading drawings technical documents and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for product (IPC specification internal EPB etc.)
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods on the job
- Written and verbal communication skills
Education/Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have physical ability to perform the essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodations
- Experience and/or training in: electronics industrial electronics precision manufacturing inspection equipment operation electrical wiring machinery operation and assembly is a plus
- Experience with measuring devices such as calipers micrometers etc.
